Lesson Objectives:

We will read, and listen to information about the bedroom items and colors and electronic equipment. 

I will describe my own and other bedrooms. 

Lesson Plan:

Preparation Activity: CANVAS DISCUSSION

Instructions: 

REFLECT AND CONNECT. Students answer questions about items in their bedrooms, including electronic equipment.

 

Acquisition Activity 1: Vocabulary   

Instructions: 

ESCUCHAR, ESCRIBIR. Students will see pictures of colors and items in a bedroom. They listen to the teacher and practice pronunciation. 

Then, they record themselves reviewing orally the vocabulary. 

 

Acquisition Activity 2: Vocabulary use   

Instructions: 

READING, WRITING. Students complete sentences using acquired vocabulary. 

Application Activity. Your own bedroom. 

DRAW AND WRITE.  

  1. Students draw their own bedroom. 
  2. They write the name of 8 things in the drawing. 
  3. The write 8 phrases describing their bedroom. 
  4. They record themselves describing their bedroom using the phrases they wrote. (Have at least two items and touch and show them when you are speaking to the camera).

REFLECTION ACTIVITY. 

WRITE, REFLECT. Students answer the following questions:

  1. What did you learn during this lesson? 
  2. How can you use what you have learned? Give a couple of examples. 
  3. What difficulties did you have? Explain what are you going to do to deal with these difficulties?
