Instructions
You will be presented with three prompts. Choose one, and write an argumentative essay. You need to write, at a minimum, 300 words. You will have three attempts, one for each day in class that you will be writing. This is so you may continue each day. My suggestion to you is that your first class period (either tuesday or wednesday depending on how quickly we work through our rhetoric papers) should be spent selecting a topic, and mapping out, or outlining, your argument. Please remember to NOT use "I" as in "I think teens today..." You could simply say "Teens today..."
BIG REMINDER!!!!!!
I will be running every paper through a plagiarism checker. Plagiarism is taking another person's intellectual property, and claiming it as your own. If you find something on the internet that you think you might want to use, QUOTE IT! Tell me where you found it and who said it. If you copy and paste anything directly from another source, internet, book, newspaper or otherwise, that is an automatic zero for a grade, and an automatic detention and call home. This is not my policy, this is the district policy on plagiarism. Plagiarism is cheating.
