Course Syllabus

English III will cover reading, vocabulary, writing, speaking, and listening skills that are taught through studying vocabulary, reviewing grammar principles,
writing compositions and analyzing American literature. The American literature for this course includes poetry, short stories, novels, plays, and nonfiction.  The course will focus on defining the "American Dream" and its ever-changing nature when viewed through the lens of literature and the culture that created it.
